Regular clean or deep clean: which do I need?
A regular clean costs $155 to $399 and a deep clean costs $229 to $599 for the same Los Angeles home, so most homes need the deep clean once and the regular clean after that.
The deep list carries 27 tasks the regular list does not, counted below from the checklist the crew works off. Prices are current as of August 2026, across the Los Angeles service area, roughly 20 miles around Calabasas.

What the deep clean adds to a home clean
27 tasks, room by room. This is the whole difference between the two prices, diffed off the checklist the cleaner app runs, so it is the real list and not a summary of it.
- Wipe baseboards in every bedroom — top edge collects most dust
- Dust window sills, frames, and inside the window track
- Vacuum under the bed AND behind the headboard
- Spot-clean any wall scuffs or fingerprints (magic eraser, light pressure)
- Vacuum the mattress top + flip the cushions if any
- Scrub grout lines on shower walls and floor with a brush + bleach paste
- Descale the shower head, faucet, and any glass with vinegar or CLR
- Wipe inside the medicine cabinet + vanity drawers
- Wipe baseboards + behind toilet base — bend down and look
- Clean the exhaust fan grille — dust + wipe with damp cloth
- Pull oven racks and clean inside the oven with degreaser
- Wipe inside the refrigerator — shelves, drawers, door seals
- Clean inside the microwave — steam method (cup of water + lemon, 3 min)

You do not need to be home for either one, but somebody should be reachable by phone. Every room is photographed before and after, and the photos are sent to you when the job is signed off.
On a recurring plan the first visit is the deep clean
A new recurring home starts on the deep price, because a regular clean cannot catch up on buildup that took a year to arrive. After that first visit the price drops. A 3 bedroom home cleaned every two weeks is $349 for the deep first visit, then $200 a visit, which is 15 percent off the $235 regular price. Weekly takes 20 percent off and monthly takes 10 percent. Airbnb: the regular clean is the one between guests
A short-term rental runs on the regular clean, guest after guest. The deep clean is for the first clean of a new listing, a place that has sat empty, or the reset after a long stay. It adds 27 tasks over the regular Airbnb list.

What neither one does
Deep is a depth of cleaning, not a different trade. Paying for the deep list does not buy any of these, and we will say so rather than take the booking.
- Carpet shampooing or steam cleaning (we vacuum only)
- Black mold or mold remediation
- Biohazards, blood, feces, or bodily fluids
- Pest extermination or active infestations
- Hoarder-level clutter or conditions
- Trash or junk hauling
- Permanent stains (anything that will not come out)
- Heavily soiled or neglected areas beyond a standard clean
- Exterior or upper-floor windows
- Lifting over 20 lbs or moving heavy furniture
- Handling valuables: electronics and TVs, collectibles, trinkets, or delicate fixtures (we clean around them)

What is the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean?
Depth, not scope. A regular clean covers every room in the house. A deep clean covers the same rooms and adds 27 tasks a regular visit never reaches: inside the oven, inside the fridge, inside the microwave, baseboards, grout lines, vents, ceiling fans, window tracks, under the bed and under the furniture. On a 3 bedroom home that is 89 tasks against 62.
Which one do I need?
Deep, if nobody has cleaned behind and inside things at your place in a while, or if the house has sat empty, or if you are starting a recurring plan. Regular, if a professional cleaned it recently and you are keeping up with it. Most homes need the deep clean once and the regular clean after that.
How much more does a deep clean cost?
$74 more on a 1 bedroom and $200 more on a 5 bedroom. In full, a regular clean runs $155 to $399 and a deep clean runs $229 to $599. Both prices are flat, not hourly.
How much longer does a deep clean take?
A regular clean is 2.5 to 3.5 hours with one cleaner. A deep clean is 4 to 6 hours with one cleaner, or 3 to 4 hours with a two person crew.
