Maid service prices per visit

The more often the crew comes, the less each visit costs, because a home that is kept up takes less time than one that is being caught up. The discount is applied automatically when you pick a schedule.

The first visit is a deep clean

A recurring price assumes the home is already at a maintained baseline, so a new home starts with one deep clean and then drops to the recurring rate. Here is what that looks like.

Home sizeFirst visit, deep cleanEvery visit after, every other week
1 bedroom$229$132
2 bedroom$279$157
3 bedroom$349$200
4 bedroom$469$268
5 bedroom$599$339

A home in heavy or neglected condition carries a 25 percent surcharge on the base price. It is quoted before the visit, never added afterward.

What every visit covers

  • Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas, cleaned in a fixed room order so nothing is skipped.
  • All cleaning supplies and equipment, brought by the crew.
  • $2,000,000 general liability insurance, with bonded and background checked cleaners.
  • A flat price, not an hourly rate, so a slow day does not cost you more.
  • Before and after photos of every room, so you can check the work without being home.

The crew works off the same written checklist every visit. You can read it task by task on the checklist page.

What a maid service does not do

Every cleaning company has a line, and most of them will not tell you where it is until the crew is standing in your kitchen. Here is ours.

  • Carpet shampooing or steam cleaning (we vacuum only)
  • Black mold or mold remediation
  • Biohazards, blood, feces, or bodily fluids
  • Pest extermination or active infestations
  • Hoarder-level clutter or conditions
  • Trash or junk hauling
  • Permanent stains (anything that will not come out)
  • Heavily soiled or neglected areas beyond a standard clean
  • Exterior or upper-floor windows
  • Lifting over 20 lbs or moving heavy furniture
  • Handling valuables: electronics and TVs, collectibles, trinkets, or delicate fixtures (we clean around them)

Common questions

How much does a maid service cost in Los Angeles?

A maid service costs $155 per visit for a one bedroom, $185 for a two bedroom, $235 for a three bedroom, $315 for a four bedroom, and $399 for a five bedroom. Supplies, equipment and insurance are included, and the price is flat rather than hourly.

How much cheaper is a regular schedule?

Weekly takes 20 percent off every visit, every other week takes 15 percent off, and monthly takes 10 percent off. On a one bedroom that is $124 a visit weekly against $155 for a single clean.

Does the first visit cost more?

Yes. A new recurring home starts with a deep clean, because the regular per visit price assumes the home is already at a maintained baseline. On a one bedroom the first visit is $229 and every visit after that is the recurring rate.

Is a maid service the same as house cleaning?

It is the same work. Maid service is the older name for regular, scheduled house cleaning, and the checklist, crew and price are identical to a standard house clean on this site.

Do I have to be home?

No. Most customers leave a key, a lockbox code or a smart lock code. Before and after photos of every room are sent when the crew finishes, so you can see the work without being there.

What if the home has not been cleaned in a long time?

A home in heavy or neglected condition carries a 25 percent surcharge on the base price, quoted before the visit, never added afterward. Once it is back to a maintained baseline the regular rate applies.

What parts of Los Angeles do you cover?

The service area is roughly 20 miles around Calabasas, covering Woodland Hills, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Studio City, Toluca Lake and the surrounding neighborhoods.
