How much does a deep house cleaning cost in Los Angeles?
Deep house cleaning in Los Angeles costs $229 for a one bedroom and $599 for a five bedroom, and a two person crew is on site 3 to 4 hours. Those are Ready Rental Cleaning’s 2026 prices, flat rather than hourly, with supplies, equipment and $2,000,000 liability insurance included.
Current as of August 2026, across the Los Angeles service area, roughly 20 miles around Calabasas.
Deep cleaning prices by home size
One flat price for the whole home. The last column is the published checklist for that size, counted from the same list the crew works off on the job.
| Home size | Square footage | Deep clean | Normal clean | Tasks on the checklist |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 bedroom | Up to 900 sqft | $229 | $155 | 86 |
| 2 bedroom | Up to 1,250 sqft | $279 | $185 | 86 |
| 3 bedroom | Up to 1,600 sqft | $349 | $235 | 89 |
| 4 bedroom | Up to 2,200 sqft | $469 | $315 | 94 |
| 5 bedroom | Up to 3,000 sqft | $599 | $399 | 97 |
A home in heavy or neglected condition carries a 25 percent surcharge on the base price, quoted before the visit, never added afterward. An empty home being handed back to a landlord is a different job, priced on the move-out page.
What a deep clean adds over a normal clean
27 tasks, room by room. This is the whole difference between the two prices, diffed off the checklist the cleaner app runs, so it is the real list and not a summary of it.

The full list, both tiers, task by task, is on the checklist page. Pick Residential, then Deep, and it counts out the exact list for your home size.
How long it takes
3 to 4 hours with a two person crew, or 4 to 6 hours with one cleaner. You do not need to be home, but somebody should be reachable by phone. Every room is photographed before and after, and the photos are sent to you when the job is signed off.
The deep clean is the first visit on a recurring plan
A new recurring home starts on the deep price, because a normal clean cannot catch up on buildup that took a year to arrive. After that first visit the price drops. A 3 bedroom booked every two weeks is $349 for the deep first visit, then $200 a visit, which is 15 percent off the $235 normal price. Per-visit prices for every size and schedule are on the maid service page.
Add-ons and what each costs
Inside the oven, inside the fridge and inside the microwave are already on the deep checklist, so they are in the price above. These are the extras that sit outside it.
Interior glass and sills, reachable windows only. $5 per window (this covers about 8). Add more as a custom item.
Wipe out the empty kitchen cabinet interiors (customer empties them first). About 30 min.
Spot-wash marks, scuffs and handprints, one room. $30 per room, about 30 min. Add more rooms as custom items.
Wash, dry and fold, 2 loads. Extra loads +$20 per 2. About 20 min hands-on.
Sweep and tidy the garage floor, cobweb removal. One garage, about 25 min.
Wipe-down, sweep, cobweb removal. One patio or balcony, about 25 min.
What a deep clean does not do
Deep is a depth of cleaning, not a different trade. Carpet shampooing, mold remediation and junk hauling are other people’s jobs and we will tell you so rather than take the booking. Here is the whole line.
- Carpet shampooing or steam cleaning (we vacuum only)
- Black mold or mold remediation
- Biohazards, blood, feces, or bodily fluids
- Pest extermination or active infestations
- Hoarder-level clutter or conditions
- Trash or junk hauling
- Permanent stains (anything that will not come out)
- Heavily soiled or neglected areas beyond a standard clean
- Exterior or upper-floor windows
- Lifting over 20 lbs or moving heavy furniture
- Handling valuables: electronics and TVs, collectibles, trinkets, or delicate fixtures (we clean around them)

Common questions
How much does a deep house cleaning cost in Los Angeles?
$229 for a 1 bedroom, $279 for a 2 bedroom, $349 for a 3 bedroom, $469 for a 4 bedroom, and $599 for a 5 bedroom. The price is flat, not hourly, and it covers supplies, equipment, the crew and $2,000,000 liability insurance.
What is the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?
The deep list carries 27 tasks a normal clean does not: inside the oven, inside the fridge, inside the microwave, grout lines, baseboards in every room, vents and ceiling fans, under the bed, under the sofa cushions, and mopping under furniture. On a 3 bedroom that is $349 against $235 for the normal clean, a difference of $114.
How long does a deep clean take?
3 to 4 hours with a two person crew, or 4 to 6 hours with one cleaner. Somebody should be reachable by phone during the visit, but you do not need to be home.
How often do I need a deep clean?
Once, for most homes, and then a normal clean holds it. The deep clean is the reset: it catches the buildup a regular visit never reaches. After that the maintenance clean keeps up with it.
Is the first visit on a recurring plan a deep clean?
Yes. A new recurring home starts on the deep price, then every visit after it drops. On a 3 bedroom booked every two weeks that is $349 for the first visit and $200 per visit after, which is the 15 percent recurring discount off the normal price.
Do I need to do anything before the crew arrives?
Clear the counters and floors of anything you do not want moved, and empty the kitchen cabinets if you want the interiors wiped. The crew brings every chemical, cloth, vacuum and mop.
What if the house is in rough shape?
A home in heavy or neglected condition carries a 25 percent surcharge on the base price, quoted before the visit and never added afterward. On a 1 bedroom that is $286 instead of $229. Real damage, black mold, biohazards and junk hauling are outside the job entirely.
Do you shampoo carpets?
No. We vacuum, spot-clean visible stains and vacuum carpet edges and closet interiors, but carpet shampooing and steam cleaning are not something we do at any price.
What parts of Los Angeles do you cover?
The service area is roughly 20 miles around Calabasas, covering Woodland Hills, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Studio City, Toluca Lake and the surrounding neighborhoods.
