How much do house cleaning services cost in Los Angeles?

House cleaning services in Los Angeles cost $155 for a one bedroom and $399 for a five bedroom. Those are Ready Rental Cleaning’s 2026 prices for a standard clean of a home you live in, flat rather than hourly, with supplies, equipment and $2,000,000 liability insurance included. Maid service, house cleaning and residential cleaning are the same job.

House cleaning prices by home size

One flat price for the whole home, standard clean and deep clean side by side. A deep clean is the top-to-bottom version, worth it the first time or a few times a year.

Home sizeSquare footageStandard cleanDeep clean
1 bedroomUp to 900 sqft$155$229
2 bedroomUp to 1,250 sqft$185$279
3 bedroomUp to 1,600 sqft$235$349
4 bedroomUp to 2,200 sqft$315$469
5 bedroomUp to 3,000 sqft$399$599

Recurring cleans (weekly, every two weeks or monthly) hold the standard price. A home in heavy or neglected condition is quoted as a deep clean, told to you before the visit and never added afterward.

How long it takes

2.5 to 3.5 hours with one cleaner, and faster on larger homes with a two person crew. The price is flat, so a clean that runs long is not a bigger bill. We bring our own supplies and equipment, and your things stay where they are.

Add-ons and what each costs

A standard clean covers the whole home. These are the extras people add when they want them.

Inside Oven$40

One oven. Racks pulled, interior degreased, door glass scrubbed. About 40 min. A second oven is another $40, the stovetop hood is not included.

Inside Fridge$30

One fridge. Shelves out, interior scrubbed, bins and gasket wiped. About 30 min. A second fridge or a stand-alone freezer is another $30.

Interior Windows$40

$40 covers 8 interior windows ($5 each). Glass and sills, reachable standing on the floor. No exterior glass, no upper floors, no screens or tracks. 16 windows is 2 sets.

Inside Cabinets$30

$30 per room, not per house. Empty cabinet interiors wiped out in one room, about 30 min. The customer empties them first. Kitchen and each bathroom count as separate rooms.

Wall Washing$30

$30 per room. Spot-washes marks, scuffs and handprints on the walls of one room, about 30 min. Not full-wall washing, no ceilings, and no prep for paint.

Laundry$20

$20 per 2 loads. Wash, dry and fold, about 20 min hands-on. Washer and dryer must be in the unit and working. The customer supplies detergent.

Garage Sweep-Out$30

One garage. Floor swept and tidied, cobwebs removed. About 25 min. Shelving, storage and junk hauling are not included.

Patio / Balcony$50

$50 per balcony or patio, each one separately. Furniture wiped down, floor swept, cobwebs cleared. About 25 min each. Ground level and reachable only, no pressure washing.

What a house cleaning does not do

Cleaning is not repair, and a few things sit outside the job entirely. Here is the whole line.

  • Carpet shampooing or steam cleaning (we vacuum only)
  • Black mold or mold remediation
  • Biohazards, blood, feces, or bodily fluids
  • Pest extermination or active infestations
  • Hoarder-level clutter or conditions
  • Trash or junk hauling
  • Permanent stains (anything that will not come out)
  • Heavily soiled or neglected areas beyond a standard clean
  • Exterior or upper-floor windows
  • Lifting over 20 lbs or moving heavy furniture
  • Handling valuables: electronics and TVs, collectibles, trinkets, or delicate fixtures (we clean around them)

Photo proof of every room

Every room is photographed before and after, and the photos go to you when the crew signs the job off. Cleaners are background checked, bonded and covered by $2,000,000 in general liability insurance. We bring our own supplies.

Common questions

How much do house cleaning services cost in Los Angeles?

$155 for a 1 bedroom, $185 for a 2 bedroom, $235 for a 3 bedroom, $315 for a 4 bedroom, and $399 for a 5 bedroom. The price is flat, not hourly, and it covers supplies, equipment, the crew and $2,000,000 liability insurance.

Is a maid service the same as a house cleaning service?

For a home you live in, yes. Maid service, house cleaning and residential cleaning all describe the same recurring clean of your own home. The price above is that clean. Airbnb and short-term-rental cleaning is a separate service, priced differently.

What does a standard house cleaning include?

Regular cleaning for the home you live in. We bring all our own supplies, your stuff stays where it is, and we make the beds with the sheets already on them. Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas are all in scope, room by room, off the same checklist the crew works from on the job.

How long does a house cleaning take?

2.5 to 3.5 hours with one cleaner, and faster on larger homes with a two person crew. The clean is flat-priced, so a longer job is not a bigger bill.

What is the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?

A standard clean maintains a home that is already kept up. A deep clean adds inside the oven, fridge and microwave, baseboards, grout, vents, blinds and interior windows. On a 1 bedroom that is $155 standard against $229 deep.

Do I need to provide supplies?

No. The crew brings all cleaning supplies and equipment. Your things stay where they are, and the beds are made with the sheets already on them.

Do you send the same cleaner each time?

For recurring cleans we keep the same cleaner on your home wherever the schedule allows, so they learn your place and your preferences. Every cleaner is background checked, bonded and insured.
